People with disabilities
and special needs don't stop
being sexual. Blur is open to everybody, and we hope your evening will
be an enjoyable and satisfying one. While
we will try our very best to accomodate
everyone's needs, we can't absolutely guarantee to be able to do so in
all circumstances, partly because our venue is a private house which
has not been modified to make
it more accessible. Therefore: access
from the car park to the entry door is over a firm but sloping and
slightly uneven mix of gravel, asphalt, and soil, and the interior
will not be brightly lit on
the evening. On the bright side: we have
a staff member who is familiar
with Auslan, we have
one toilet which we believe is reasonably accessible, the venue is
single-storey with no steps, and the majority of the floor is tiled,
and obviously,
we do not ask carers for a contribution towards running costs; please
mention this when you RSVP.Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any special needs. In particular, people with intellectual disabilities should check with us, on the basis that there could be responsibilities and issues of informed consent in a party situation which we are not able to assume. |
